Now You Can Recreate The New Philz Coffee Rosé at Home
For those of you lucky enough to be living near a Philz Coffee, your life may have been altered by the recent addition of the Iced Coffee Rosé to the menu.
Yes friends, it is that good. Slightly sweet with just a hint of rose flavor, this icy, frothy goodness has reached a defcon 1 level obsession.
If you have no idea what we're talking about, fear not. Your tastebuds will rejoice with this DIY recipe from Mara Davanzati that is equally delightful with the added benefits of healthy supplements and cacao because we love you. To make an iced version you can simply — you guessed it — let it chill and add ice.
Without further ado, we present the goods.
This latte is packed full of nourishing fat from coconut butter for energy and fullness all morning long. My favorite part is that you can pre-pack it in a reusable stasher bag and take on the go. This makes it perfect for traveling or you can pre-pack it to make at the office. The only other things you’ll need are an electric whisk and hot water. Done and done.
The Traveling Rose Cacao Latte
Ingredients:
- 12 oz. hot water
- 1 bag of herbal rose tea
- 1 heaping Tbsp. coconut butter
- 1 heaping Tbsp. cacao powder
- 1 scoop of collagen peptides
- optional honey
Make:
Add cacao powder, coconut butter, collagen peptides and tea bag to a snack size Stasher bag. When you’re ready to make the latte, steep tea bag in 12 oz of hot water for 3-5 minutes. Remove tea bag. Add the rest of the contents of the Stasher bag to the brewed tea and mix with an electric whisk until frothy. If you don’t have an electric whisk, a blender will also work. Sweeten if desired. Voila!
